Kindermusik For The Young Child Program For ages 5 through 7 years, these 15-week units offer the child an opportunity to explore instrumentation starting with the glockenspiel, moving to the 2-stringed dulcimer, and then the recorder. In addition to learning to play these instruments, children learn to keep a steady beat, read and write musical notation, and explore music from Appalachia, Native America, Japan, Hawaii and Africa, just to name a few. Tuition: $150.00 Materials Cost: $60.00 Each class session is 45 minutes (15 weeks), the parent or caregiver attends the last 15 minutes of each class. Class limit 12 Pre-registration is requested.
